Before you visit:

WE DO NOT HAVE A RESTROOM ON SITE. There is a very clean Parker’s gas station a few minutes from the farm that we’d suggest stopping into on the way to or from the farm.

A permanent farm stand, floral design studio, and restroom at the farm are in the works! Bear with us as we grow and strive to offer a better u-pick flower experience year after year.

U-Pick FAQ’s

U-Pick Hours

We are thrilled that so many of you have come to know and love our flowers since we started our farm in 2020! Due to this wonderfully overwhelming response, we are now offering u-pick by appointment only. This allows for a more peaceful and private experience for you, while also ensuring plenty of parking space on our small farm.

Appointments for u-pick days will be found in the Shop tab of our website, as they come available. From there you’ll be able to reserve a time slot to come visit the farm and enjoy your flower picking experience! If you do not see any appointments available, that means we are not currently hosting any u-pick days. U-Pick days are generally announced a week in advance in our email newsletter and on social media. Please sign up for our email list and follow us to stay in the know!

Time slot reservations will not require a fee, you’ll pay for your desired amount of u-pick containers when you arrive at the farm. That being said, if you reserve a spot and are unable to come out, please let us know so that we can make the u-pick opportunity available to someone else.

In the event of inclement weather, we’ll reach out via email with plenty of notice if the u-pick day will be cancelled. Since there’s no fee to reserve a spot, there’s also no refunds to hassle with! While we’d like to give rained out u-pick appointments priority to reschedule, we kindly ask that you look out for the next day and time that works for you, and reserve a spot for the future. Fingers crossed for beautiful weather!

Pricing

The flower field is for flower picking. Please do not reserve a spot to visit our u-pick flower farm if you do not intend to pick flowers. We are very busy on and off the farm and visitors that want to look around or take cell phone pictures without supporting our farm with a purchase are disrespectful of our time and hard work. Thanks for understanding!

We provide compostable cups or recyclable buckets for picking. Fill your container of choice with for a flat fee.

Large cup $20 - a centerpiece bouquet for tabletop display

Bucket $125 - creates 5-6 bouquets for blooms to display throughout your home

We accept cash, check, card, and PayPal.

How to pick

Every row and flower variety have clearly marked signs next to them with specific but simple cutting instructions. Please try your best to follow these instructions and teach your children how as well! They’ll love learning a new skill and proper cutting encourages more flowers to grow for your next visit! For our tiniest pickers, we find having them pick out and hold the flower while an adult cuts the proper stem length to be the most fun experience for everyone. We’re here to help too, give us a wave or holler from the field if you have any questions.

What to bring

  • We provide picking containers and our cups fit perfectly in your vehicle’s cupholders . If you are planning on transporting a bucket though, we recommend that you buckle your bucket in on the way home!

  • We have some clippers available but feel free to bring your own pruners or scissors.

  • Sunscreen or protective clothing & bug spray: the field is open and not the most forgiving in summer SC sunshine. Please wear appropriate footwear, if it’s been rainy rainboots may be a good idea, flip flops and heels not recommended. Mosquitoes in the South can be ferocious, insect repellent is always a good idea!

  • Respectful children! Please DO NOT allow children to chase, harass or tease our animals in any way, or purposely destroy the flowers or property. You will be asked to leave. Also, please note that you are visiting a working flower farm for a u-pick flower experience. Flower picking is the main and only attraction, we do not have play areas for children and expect for your children to be attended by an adult at all times.

  • If you have a severe BEE/STINGING INSECT allergy, please consider picking up pre-picked blooms or visiting us at the farmers markets instead of venturing into the fields. We have honeybees and other pollinators on-site and as with any outdoor activity there is always a risk that a threatened insect may bite or sting.

  • Service animals welcome but please do not bring your dogs to the farm. Our chickens and cats are free-ranging, new seedlings are delicate, some varieties are toxic if eaten, and squirrels are everywhere…difficult situations for a dog to be on their best behavior. Our own Boykin Spaniel Jenny is banned from the farm because of her excitability!

Directions to the Farm

From 402 turning right on Dr Evans Rd, Old Cordesville Rd is 3 miles down on the left. As a landmark, there is a white church with chainlink fence across the street from our road so you don’t miss your turn!

We are 1/2 mile down our gravel road on the left. Please look for the u-pick flowers sign at the end of our driveway, as GPS sometimes directs folks to our neighbor’s home before us. Their private property signs are on their property on the right side of the road, keep on going past them. The road is one lane so please be considerate to our neighbors‘ yards as you may have to pull over, back up, or wait on another vehicle to let others pass. Go on down our driveway past our white house toward the metal shop in the back and park alongside the woods. Meet us at the tent to pre-pay, enter the field, and start picking!
